Dear Parent/Guardian,
In view of the current public-health environment, ARK International School has instituted a clear protocol to better manage every pupil on arrival each morning. These measures protect our children, staff, and the wider school community.
Every child shall observe the following four steps on arrival:
On Arrival
The Four-Step Protocol
Disinfection of Hands
Every pupil sanitises hands at the entrance before proceeding into the school premises.
Temperature Check
A non-contact thermometer reading is taken on arrival. Pupils with elevated temperatures will not be admitted.
Water Bottles
Personal water bottles are inspected to ensure they are clean and properly sealed.
Tissue & Wipes
Tissues, wet wipes, and personal hand sanitisers are inspected for cleanliness and adequate supply.
Important Notices
Additional Protocols
Personal Supplies
All pupils must come to school with wet wipes and/or hand sanitisers. The school will provide additional supplies as a backup.
Suspected Infection
Pupils suspected of carrying any communicable infection will be DISALLOWED from attending school until cleared.
Cough or Fever
Pupils presenting with persistent cough or fever will be quarantined and referred to a hospital. Medical costs are at the parent or guardian's expense.
Visitors by Appointment
Only registered pupils are allowed onto the school premises. Visitors must book an appointment at least one day in advance.
